Karen has completed her Level 5 Integrative Therapeutic Counselling Advanced Diploma, meaning that she combines a variety of counselling models to bring together different elements of specific therapies, thereby tailoring therapy to each individual client. Karen is a member of the British The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, a qualified couples counsellor and qualified grief counsellor.
With such a varied skill set, Karen has helped a diverse group of clients, both men and women from ages 16 to 80 years old. Clients have presented with varied issues ranging from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement, self-harming, suicidal ideation, anger and poor mental health.
Karen is a compassionate listener with proven experience supporting her clients, helping them explore their issues and offers techniques to empower her clients so that they can make their own informed decisions.
Karen provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment for clients, offering integrative counselling thereby blending relevant theory and interventions to suit the needs of the client.
